About AAH
Artists Against Hunger is an Empty Bowls project in Western Ohio that started in 2010 in Hardin County under the direction of Mayumi Kiefer, at the time a Studio Arts junior at Ohio Northern University. After graduation in 2012, she vowed to continue efforts in bringing the communities of West Central Ohio to work together to alleviate child hunger in the region. Now, many artists and sponsors join her in running events in Hardin and Miami Counties that support programs that feed hungry children.

The event is free to all, and will feature meals donated by local restaurants and individuals, served in donated bowls crafted by area ceramic artists.
